Absolute Frail Care

Our Care Staff:

Our Registered Nurses (RN), Enrolled Nurses (EN), and Enrolled Nursing Assistants (ENA), assist with all daily activities, ranging from eating, personal hygiene, personal care plans, and they administer all medication as required while closely monitoring the health of our residents. They also provide all first aid care as required. All our staff have the happiness and wellbeing of our residents at heart, and they always strive to provide the best care possible. Our staff also attend regular training courses.

Facilities:

In Heidelberg, our facility provides a homely caring environment within a secure estate. We can accommodate up to 30 residents. Single, sharing rooms available.

In Krugersdorp, our care home provides a theraputic homely environment with a large secure garden for our elderly residents. We can accommodate up to 12 residents in this spacious, family home. Single or sharing rooms available.

Catering:

Our kitchen prepares a variety of fresh, healthy, and tasty meals. All our menus have been developed by a registered dietician. We are also able to cater to special dietary requirements, including diabetic meals, soft and tube feeding, and other requirements that our residents may have.

Activities:

Apart from the physical health care our staff provides, we also take care of our residents’ cognitive well-being. Each resident has a specific care plan developed to cater for his or her specific needs. Physical and mental stimulation forms part of this, and our activities include assisted walks (where possible), puzzle building, crossword puzzles, knitting, and sing-alongs, to name but a few. Our Physiotherapist provides weekly exercise classes and our Occupational Therapist provides weekly arts & crafts sessions.

Home Based Care

We provide flexible health care support services to encourage and sustain independent living and active ageing.

This can include:
Hygiene assistance
Medical assistance
Medicine management
Services are provided in the privacy of your home. The process involves an initial assessment by ourregistered nurse of your loved one to establish their needs.
A Carer / Nurse with the required qualifications, skills and expertise will then be appointed and orientation will then take place on-site.

Care Centre Development

Absolute Care consults with property developers in order to assist with the planning of Care Centres within a development and facilitates the appropriate roll-out of healthcare services to meet the expectations of prospective purchasers in line with budgetary constraints and licensing requirements.
